Chapter 340 Too Upset Amir's p.o.v. 4 83% Finished It has been four days since we got our assignment from King Damon and we have uncovered a pattern in Lucas' schedule.

As I suspected, it is difficult to detect with an untrained eye. Luckily we get the best training in the King's Army and Lucas made the mistake of thinking that he was covering his tracks.

"Okay, what do we know about the current whereabouts of Lucas' Mother?" I ask.

"His Mother is also in Bellwich, but as far as we have been able to find out, she doesn't live with him. She stays in a mansion just outside of town but it is well guarded, almost as if someone is holding her prisoner." Zeke responds to my question.

"Get eyes on her; I want to know everything there is to know. What about any other relatives?" I ask, because we know there is more family out there and I want to understand their connection.

"An Uncle from his Father's side, works for the Elders and has been questioned by Elder Emmett. He knows nothing about Lucas or his plans." Wade answers.

"There was rumor of a Sister, but the last tanyone saw her was around the tLucas' Mother found her second chance Mate. No one knows if she is still alive and other than her nwe have no information on her." Wade continues.

I had asked King Damon if I could bring in another team to help with surveillance, I needed the extra members to getupdates on every player involved.

Lucas' Mother, Dawn, who is still staying at the mansion; David who has been Lucas' friend since childhood and his three accomplices. Their identity is unknown to us at the moment, but I hope with the extra team in place it won't take long.

"Amir, we have something on Dawn." Matias says as he walks into the living room, it has been almost two days since I sent another team to Bellwich.

I finally understand why Morgan chose to keep her unit on the top floor during their off hours and meals, it is nice and quiet up here and no one bothers us here.

"Dawn tried to escape two days ago, but she failed. Lucas showed up to do something, but we are not aware of what he did to her." Matias says, while showing us pictures of Lucas coming and going. "They did discover something else though. Dawn doesn't live there by herself, but whoever it is that person hasn't set foot outside. All we know at the moment is that this person is taller than Dawn and seems to be close to her." Matias says as he shows us the footage my other team made.

We can see someone walking into the living room to help Dawn up and embrace her, it is difficult to tell if the person is male or female. My best guess is that this person has known Dawn for a long tand that they are pretty close.

"We can move to Bellwich, everything is set up and ready to go." Pedro announces as he walks into the living room.

After putting everything in the SUVs, we make the two hour drive to Bellwich and settle into our haway from home.

Finished Our first task is to make it known that we are here to investigate the disappearance of a fourteen year old Wolf, Dorian was last seen leaving school but he never got home.

Bellwich is a town for lone Shifters, a town where they can live without the hierarchy of a Pack. An Elder oversees them and makes sure that they live according to our laws.

Wade and I walk the route Dorian took every day and along the way we ask anyone that we encounter if they had seen anything that day. Most don't even remember seeing Dorian, but a few tell us that they saw him and that there was nothing out of the ordinary.

The last part of his route leads through a park and I notice the cameras that are placed along the paths through the park.

"Getthat footage, maybe we can get sanswers." I tell Wade and he immediately dials Pedro's number. I get a thumbs up while they are talking and I ask a passerby if she remembers seeing Dorian. "Yes, I saw him a few weeks back. It was near the playground on the other side of the park, one of the Pups had fallen off the swing and he tended to his wounded knee." The female tells me.

By the twe get to the playground, I have informed my team of what I uncovered and it only takes us a few minutes to find the Pup that Dorian helped.

"He waited with us, until my Mate showed up. He is a nice young male and I wish I had thought of thanking e him for his help. My Mate has been trying to figure out who he is and where he lives, but no luck so far." The Pup's Mother says. "His nis Dorian and he went missing after leaving the three of you." I tell her and she quickly pulls out a phone to call her Mate.

I listen as she tells him what she was told and a moment later she handsthe phone, her Mate wants to know what he can do to help us.

I ask him if he can look in on Dorian's Mother from tto time, she has been a wreck ever since Dorian went missing and I want Dorian to have something to return to.

"Commander Amir, we will take care of that. Many other lone Shifters hifters m would have walked past my Son, but NQ Dorian dide Dorian didn't hesitate to help. This is the least I can do to repay him." The male says.

I found out that their Son has a rare defect in his immune system and these types of injuries can make him severely ill resulting in death if not treated immediately. They never leave hwithout the necessary items to treat wounds, but the female had been too upset to help her Son. Dorian was a Goddess' sent gift at that moment, helping a stranger when he could have ignored them. 1.9K
