Axel slowly approached me. “And you told me... nothing?”

He charged atwith lightning speed but | saw that coming, | dodged. “I shouldn't be the one you are having
the problems with. She wanted to offer her body for my aid, but | wasn’t going to do that.”
Axel searched my eyes; deciding | was speaking the truth, he backed away. “Get out, get the hell out of this
pack, mother, and | don’t want to see you ever again.”

“I don’t.”
